The Cost Management Business Analyst's mandate is to act as a business partner to the Merchandising team, providing expertise and guidance in cost management and analysis. Your main objective will be to understand and mitigate the impact of cost changes and provide analysis that will guide strategic decisions and align cost negotiations. The incumbent will leverage their analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
Your role
Cost analysis: Perform detailed cost-benefit analysis of product categories, identify savings opportunities and submit recommendations to the Merchandising team
Risk management: Identify mitigation measures and propose recommendations for negotiation levers to mitigate the impact of cost changes.
Relationship management: Collaborate with the Merchandising team by helping to align their cost, term and contract negotiations, ensuring the best value for the business.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with various departments to contribute to initiatives or special projects aimed at improving processes and monitoring results
Analyze sales data and financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement and propose recommendations.
Data management: Maintain and improve reporting models and tools to respond to business changes.
