We are currently looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Transmission General Admin team in a permanent position reporting to the Senior Business Analyst.

As a Cost Analyst you will:

  • Provide accounting for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes.
  • Process requisitions, liaise with Accounts Payable, Procurement and other internal teams as required.
  • Prepare and process third party billing for vendors.
  • Provide detailed variance analyses.
  • Provide monthly reconciliations.
  • Perform project tasks with good overall quality, while being able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Work on Ad-hoc projects and analyses, as required.
What skills will make you successful?

You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
  • Have a recognized Accounting/Business Certificate or degree, and a minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have an excellent working knowledge of Excel, strong analytical abilities, a keen business sense, knowledge of computer operating systems, and effective organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • You have strong organizational skills, are detail-oriented, and are comfortable working to deadlines.
