Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
? Conduct inventory evaluations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
? Maintain accurate records of supply inventory and ensure correct valuation.
? Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving teams to streamline cost tracking.
? Perform frequent inventory counts to verify accuracy.
? Assist IT and company leadership in completing the inventory module in the ERP system.
? Provide financial reporting and cost analysis, primarily focused on inventory valuation.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
? 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or seafood industry.
? CPA, CMA, or CGA designation, or actively working toward CPA certification.
? Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
? Understanding of IT systems and data flows related to cost tracking.
? Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
? Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
? Experience in seafood processing, manufacturing, or fish plant operations.
? Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
? A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a proactive mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,633.59-$90,397.91 per year
