We are recruiting for an experienced

Corrosion Engineer

to be based in Aberdeen at our client's city centre office. The position will be full-time office based working within a major operator.


To that end we wish to hear from experienced industry professionals with a corrosion background and demonstrable skills in the areas of Corrosion Engineering, Integrity and Risk Based Assessments, Non-Intrusive Inspection, Fitness for Service Assessments and Data Analysis including using statistical tools.

Candidates should possess the following:

Degree/Post Graduate qualified in an engineering related discipline. Chartered/Incorporated status desirable. Extensive demonstrable experience working within Corrosion/Materials environment ideally in a Corrosion Management role. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant onshore/offshore legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment. Working knowledge and experience of NDT and Specialist Inspection techniques. Proficient in the use of MS Office (particularly Word/Excel). Demonstrable experience in RBA / CRA / WSEs. Ability to use and experience of bespoke databases. Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal / client facing skills. Report writing experience with strong attention to details. Ability to use initiative and direct and guide other team members. Ability to travel offshore if/when required.
