About The Opportunity

This position will be based in and reporting into the CT Americas Technology Leader, and be responsible for the onboarding, implementation, and migration of customers onto our proprietary customer facing booking platform, Melon. This position is responsible for strategic direction, analysis, development, and integration of exciting technology projects within CT USA.

This role will require you to liaise with the Onboarding & Implementations, Operations Teams, and the Americas CT Technology team to plan and oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects within Corporate Traveler USA, starting with Melon Migration.

You will be expected to utilize your experiences and tools to guarantee outcomes and to support others involved in the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the tactical day-to-day aspects of initiating, validating, documenting, and delivering projects.
  • Proactively Provide regular progress reporting for stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Track Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) relevant to all projects and wider business goals.
  • Meet the guidelines and adherence of the Flight Centre Project Management Methodologies including documentation workflow.
  • Close liaison with Systems Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
  • Develop and manage project plans.
  • Track project risks, issues, actions, and decision points, escalating these as appropriate.
  • Facilitate project review and stakeholder meetings, presenting progress, risks and decision points.
  • Build and maintain project plan, including approach, scope, tasks, durations, work effort, dependencies, assumptions, risks, resource allocation, and deliverable definitions.
  • Measure project progress against agreed objectives and success criteria.
  • Monitor resource allocation across projects.
  • Ensure project resource/time is tracked.
  • Chair and prepare material and reports for individual / team meetings and provide minutes.
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Provide weekly updates on projects to leadership
  • Create team collateral for presentations to the wider business.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in project management disciplines, with experience planning and executing projects and programs
  • Qualified in Project / Program Managing using leading methodologies (Agile, Prince2 Practitioner, PMP)
  • 3+ years in a customer facing role
  • Excellent knowledge of the travel or technology industries
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies
  • Experience with Project Management tools & workflow software programs (Smartsheet & Lucidchart preferred)
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets i.e. KPIs, OKRs
  • Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies
