Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Casual Security Guard in North York, Ontario.

Job Details:

• Corporate Reception security guard.
• Full-time Casual (3 to 4 weeks)
• Flexible - Shifts - Mornings 0830-1730 (timings might differ by 30 mins - 1 hr)
• Candidate must have access to a vehicle/ must drive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
• Issuing Visitor Badges and reception duties.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
• Visitor Access Control.
• Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
• Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Operate security control room equipment.
• Patrolling.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
• Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• CPR Level C Certified.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons & weekends.
