Job Description

Ocean Aviation Services Limited operates several Challenger 350/3500 aircraft located in Saint John, New Brunswick, providing flight services to Ocean Capital Holdings Limited and its group of companies. Ocean Capital is a privately held company with its Corporate Offices located in Saint John, New Brunswick, with interests across multiple business lines, including broadcasting, real estate, construction and service. The position is based in Saint John, NB and will provide national and international flight services to Ocean Capital Group of companies. The Corporate Pilot reports to the Chief Pilot and will work with a team of Pilots and Flight Department personnel carrying out duties which support the organizations' corporate travel needs.


Position Requirements:


Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). Minimum 4000 hours Total Flying Time. Minimum 1000 hours Multi-Engine Turbine PIC. Corporate Jet time an asset. International flight operations an asset. Flexibility in schedule. Customer Service oriented, strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and adjust to frequent schedule changes due to weather or business requirements. Valid Canadian Passport. Residency in Saint John, NB and surrounding area required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


Responsible for passenger safety, in the conduct of corporate aircraft flight operations. Carry out Pilot duties and responsibilities according to Company policies and procedures. Successfully complete all annually required ground and flight (simulator) training. Pre-flight and post-flight arrangements, including but not limited to flight planning, load control, catering and service, grooming, etc. Administrative duties assigned by the Chief Pilot. Additional duties as required.
Education:


Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree and/or Aviation Flight College Diploma.
