Corporate Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, draft, and revise corporate documents including incorporations, amendments, annual returns, minute books, share transactions, and related filings.
Maintain and organize corporate records to ensure compliance with regulatory and filing requirements.
Assist with incorporations, extra-provincial registrations, continuances, dissolutions, and other corporate transactions.
Conduct and review corporate searches
Manage and track filing deadlines, annual returns, and minute book updates.
Coordinate and communicate with lawyers, clients, and government agencies regarding corporate filings and documentation.
Provide administrative support such as scheduling, file management, billing preparation, and correspondence.
Supporting multiple lawyers with their corporate law practices
Other Requirements:
5 years experience as a corporate legal assistant
CORES Level II
required; however, candidates with CORES Level I and relevant experience will also be considered.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, ALF, CORES, CLIO
Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Competent in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
Excellent client service rapport and professionalism
