Senior Corporate Quality Manager
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the internal audit program across all departments and all manufacturing facilities.
Oversee risk assessments and ensure audit plans are aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
Conduct operational and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
Identify gaps and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior leadership.
Prioritizing and managing compliance projects.
Communicating project milestones on a regular basis.
Developing documentation as required by the project: SOPs, protocols, reports, etc.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Manage and oversee biosecurity processes and concerns for all manufacturing sites
Manage and oversee internal auditor daily responsibilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Support external audits and regulatory inspections, including Health Canada and third-party audits.
Coach and mentor internal audit staff and plant leaders to foster a culture of accountability and compliance.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including GMP, food safety, and occupational health standards.
Maintain documentation and records in accordance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems.

Profile
Bachelor's degree in food science, or related field is required
Internal Auditor Certification is required
Good knowledge of the food environment and the related regulatory requirements (CFIA, Health Canada, USDA, FDA)
Possess knowledge of food safety system (HACCP and other Food safety program certification)
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to understand role's impact and influencing skills
Strong organizational skills required to manage projects
Minimum 8 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Knowledge of Food Safety related legislation, standards, and regulations
Solid experience with 3rd Party Audits, customer audits, internal audits
Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit methodologies.
Experience with regulatory compliance, including food safety and GMP standards.
Proven ability to lead audits and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High level computer skills (MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and various other company systems)
Ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
Must own a vehicle and have a valid G2/G driver's license
