Job Title: Corporate Immigration Lawyer

Our client is seeking a Manager/Senior Associate with 7+ years of experience to provide support to one of its legal teams. The Manager will be responsible for developing and establishing client relationship while overseeing and managing a team of Lawyers and Senior/Lead Analysts.

:

• Conduct in depth research to support client requests and projects
• Develop expert level understanding of your client base and industries that you support
• Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information and support client projects
• Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues and case strategy
• Develop an understanding of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s practice areas and services provided
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Delegate, coach and oversee the work of Lawyers and Senior/Lead Analyst\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Participate in the hiring process, manage performance and training of all team members

Essential Requirements:

• Member of the Ontario Bar is required
• 5+ years of business immigration experience working on PR, Express Entry, Citizenship and PNP, work permit and/or temporary and permanent residence files.
• Prior team management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients and staff
• Demonstrated knowledge of current Canadian immigration law.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze facts and determine appropriate case strategy.
• Effectively utilize on-line research tools and experience with client management systems.
• Contribute to the Firm\xe2\x80\x99s overall initiatives

Hybrid position - 2 days in the office - 3 days at home
