Job Description

CAE Safety Consultants provides driver education, coaching and evaluations to corporate clients throughout Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. This position is an opportunity to work with professional adults (not teenagers) to refresh and improve their driving skills, and ensure they meet a certain driving standard for their employers.

We are looking for new members to join our team of instructors and coaches, who have a professional demeanor, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, are well-groomed and dressed, and preferably have past driver education, law enforcement or teaching experience.

Most training will focus on in-vehicle evaluations and coaching. Opportunities exist to also instruct classroom sessions.

This position involves some out of town travel.

This is an ideal position for someone looking for flexible hours within the work place or a semi-retirement position.

Strong writing skills are a necessity.

Education & Experience

Professional driver training course is an asset.

Knowledge/experience with gravel road driving an asset.

Minimum 5 years of driving experience.

Trailer towing experience is an asset.

Experience facilitating training/workshops in large or small group settings.

Experience driving large passenger vehicles, buses, or trucks is an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
