WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Corporate Director, Product Development will direct, manage, and support the development of requested product-based changes, from ideation through to market launch and subsequent launch review. They will also develop and manage processes to support new product or upgraded product development.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure cost-effective and efficient management of all product development activities and respective timelines in support of the Company\'s strategic plan
• Issue product development KPIs and perform post-launch reviews to support process evolution to eliminate any process gaps
• Conduct post-launch reviews and ensure recommendations are implemented
• Optimize ideas by offering technical capability and product quality insights. Recommend product improvement and/or specification changes where appropriate
• Guide and coach team members and provide training for the Product Development team
• Improve profitability of Company\'s product portfolio by periodic review and implementation of cost reduction initiatives
• Prepare the annual Product Development budget and assure the appropriate cost control measures are in place

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in tissue manufacturing in a key management role

Solid understanding of the North American tissue market. * Packaging design experience is preferred

• Project management experience
