As Corporate Controller, you support the organization through targeted financial
analyses and management reports that inform and advise senior management.
Proactive by nature, you identify potential risks and contribute to timely, well-informed
decision-making.
Responsibilities:
? Plan, organize, direct, control, and rigorously evaluate the entire accounting
cycle;
? Prepare financial statements and management reports, ensuring the smooth
execution of month-end and year-end closing processes;
? Participate in the preparation of accounting transactions;
? Interact with external auditors and respond to their requests;
? Oversee cash management and monitor forecasts;
? Coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process, perform analyses, and
adjust forecasts;
? Define, implement, and ensure compliance with risk management procedures,
internal controls, and continuous improvement of processes and information
systems;
? Participate in the development and optimization of existing software solutions;
? Inform and advise management on any critical trends related to financial
performance;
? Identify cost-reduction opportunities and recommend appropriate measures;Lead the financial component of special projects related to clinical development;
? Perform ad hoc financial analyses at management's request.
Required Skills and Profile:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) or a related field;
? CPA designation required;
? Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role;
? Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards;
? Proficiency with the MS Office suite;
? Knowledge of Sage accounting software is an asset;
? Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;
? Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, accuracy, and results- and deadline-
oriented mindset;
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted
relationships with teams and stakeholders;
? Ability to adapt in a growing and transforming environment;
? Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to frame decisions from a
strategic perspective;
? High level of autonomy and organizational skills in managing priorities;
? Positive leadership and strong political acumen;
? Strong teamwork skills and active listening;
? Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian capital markets requirements.
