SUMMARY - Corporate Communication & Marketing Specialist



Reporting to the Director, of Finance & Strategy, the Corporate Communications Specialist will elevate the quality and consistency of our brand voice by owning content editing, managing social media presence, overseeing internal communications campaigns, and ensuring the strategic alignment of all marketing communications. A key aspect of this role is to champion and enhance TransX's Employer Value Proposition, creating authentic and impactful content that communicates our value and mission to internal and external audiences.

Major Responsibilities:

• •Strategy & Corporate Communications •


• Partner with leaders to develop the annual communications and marketing strategy to drive growth
• Assist in the creation and documentation of strategic objectives and strategy by crafting presentations, drafting mission, vision, and value statements, corporate statements, etc.
• Create and maintain an internal and external asset library, including logos, templates, decks, etc.
• Develop external marketing communications for industry, regulatory, and other programs and partners.
• Develop and produce creative communications materials and tools for all programs and campaigns, including copywriting, building activations and experiences, and digital content.
• Develop and maintain company marketing asset library, including logos, templates, visuals, etc.
• Create and publish the monthly employee newsletter
• Develop tool kits for nationwide programming and events to ensure consistent promotion and execution.
• Work with vendors to determine optimum pricing and distribution of service awards and branded promotional products. Maintain regular inventory of promotional products on hand and handle distribution requests to other Terminals.
• Spearhead Corporate Social Responsibility programming and promotion.
• Work with Social Committees at each Terminal to ensure programming is consistent and appropriate across Terminals.

• Draft the annual social media plans, both corporate and recruitment-specific, in collaboration with departmental leaders and executive
• Manage the design, content, editing, and updating of online content across TransX social media platforms and website in both Canada and the US
• Develop and update monthly content calendars and manage all social media channels
• Create, track, and report on social media analytics, providing recommendations for better reach and impact.
• Review online reviews/company tags, proactively responding to any negative/inflammatory information

• Maintain the company website, partnering with departmental leaders and executives to enhance content
• Update and maintain customer web portal
• Update and maintain employee intranet (if/when developed)
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Experience managing and growing social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, for a professional brand.
• The ability to use a wide variety of computer software, including graphic and web-based applications

WORKING CONDITION:

• Working in the Winnipeg office
• Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
