Our client, a boutique Toronto law firm is hiring a Corporate Law Clerk! The firm offers a team oriented office and a competitive salary based on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft corporate legal documents (i.e.: incorporations, amalgamations, arrangements, acquisitions, reorganizations, amendments etc.); - Conduct due diligence reviews and rectify any deficiencies;
- Maintain and update minute books and files; - Provide support for trademark applications and prosecution;
- Coordinate multi-jurisdictional transactions with lawyers and clerks in other offices; and
- Perform general and annual corporate maintenance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in corporate/ commercial law;
- Law Clerk diploma or certificate from an accredited institute;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills; and
- Strong proficiency with MS Office
