The Opportunity




Leavitt Industrial Group is looking for an experienced

Corporate Accounting Manager

to join our team in

Langley, British Columbia

. As the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will supervise accounting staff, streamline processes, maintain strong internal controls to support our high-volume shared service environment, and act as the primary liaison with our Financial Reporting team.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities




As the Corporate Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:


Manage and execute month-end close, including journal entries, GL reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis Review trial balances for accuracy before submission to the Financial Reporting team Manage intercompany billings for shared services and reconcile intercompany balances, including invoicing and collections Resolve mismatches with subsidiary accountants before consolidation Oversee AP data entry, vendor management, and payment processes, ensuring proper coding and reviewing electronic payment backups Coordinate dividend transactions and work with treasury on cash flow forecasting Manage, develop, and mentor AP and Payments staff Identify opportunities for process automation and control improvements Complete monthly GST returns and provide supporting schedules for corporate tax filings Prepare audit-ready documentation and support annual audit requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications




The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:


At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience working with multiple entities and intercompany transactions At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role CPA designation (or near completion) Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

The base pay range for this role is: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
