Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Support the monthly and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages.
Help manage tax compliance, including gathering data for HST filings and corporate tax returns.
Contribute to Accounts Receivable functions by preparing aging reports and assisting with collections follow-up.
Learn and become proficient in our ERP system (Sage Intacct or NetSuite), helping to ensure data accuracy.
Participate in projects to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
1-3 years
of accounting experience (including co-op or internship experience).
A university degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Actively pursuing
a CPA designation is a strong asset.
A
strong aptitude for learning new software
is required; prior experience with an ERP system is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
(VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges.
