Position Overview: The Core Receiver is responsible for all aspects of the core receiving process and managing the core bank.

:

• Must be able to proficiently perform tasks associated with the core receiving process for all small and large components including turbos, water pumps, engines, transmissions, etc.
• Must be able to correctly identify the component according to OEM part number as well as identify missing/excessive parts and complete preliminary core condition reports.
• Must be proficient in all aspects of the core receiving process for all three of the following groups: Salvaged Components (crankshafts, cylinder blocks, connecting rods and cylinder heads), Small Components and Undercarriage, and Large Components.

Qualifications:

• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with forklift certification
• Minimum of one year related experience
• Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively
• Sound computer skills and knowledge of computer systems (MS Outlook, Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures

Note:

• This position is on the Day shift; Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 8 hours per day
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement

• Hourly Rate: $29.29 - $36.74 / Hour

Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
