Job Description


Our client is an advertising/marketing agency that works with B2B businesses throughout North America helping them plan and execute marketing programs. Whether it\'s through digital or print mediums, they focus on making sure their clients get the most out of their marketing communications efforts and get a good ROI.

As the Copywriter your main purpose is to oversee and complete numerous projects related to content creation. This includes creating written promotional material that aims to engage readers and encourage the sale of a specific product or service. In addition, you would be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing strategies for the social media accounts internally and externally.

This role reports to the President. Note: This is a hybrid role, currently 1 - 2 days in the office located near Pearson Airport.

Copywriting:

Create copy for websites, social media platforms, emails, ad campaigns, and more.

Perform some editing tasks and revisions to help adhere to a company style guide and brand voice.

Ensure all copy is technically and grammatically accurate.

Write copy incorporating relevant search data that boosts SEO traffic to the company and client websites for optimal online visibility.

Help develop and implement creative marketing and communication strategies for target audiences.

Collaborate with teams including designers, developers, SEM specialists, marketing and customer experience experts, and contribute expertise during team meetings.

Social Media:

Develop strategic social marketing plans, schedules and campaigns that maximize the potential of each social media channel.

Utilize social media platforms to build community, increase reach and engagement, and support overall marketing themes and priorities.

Drive the creation of engaging content that supports the brand and broader marketing calendar.

Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)\xe2\x80\x94like link clicks, likes, and other metrics of social media marketing campaigns and report on the results monthly.

Requirements:

3+ years of agency experience producing copy for marketing and social media campaigns

Able to interpret information and conduct research, if needed

Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot errors

Demonstrated expertise in writing compelling and creative copy for the necessary medium
