Copywriter We are looking for someone who succeeds in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our team as a Copywriter. As a member of our growing global marketing team, you will be researching, planning, writing, and editing content pieces for our leisure brands aligned to their customer insights & brand guidelines across a variety of mediums. As the voice of our leisure brands, you will work closely with the brand managers and campaign coordinators to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.   • You are a grammar geek who knows your way around a proper sentence, demonstrates good written and verbal communication skillsistens well and shares information.
  • Have a working knowledge of principles of SEO
  • Have a thorough understanding of the landscape of social media channels and best practices in social media advertising, content creation, community management, email marketing, and web copy.
  • Able to juggle several responsibilities and multiple conflicting timelines. Consistently be on the lookout for new channels and ways to engage with our customers, while keeping the primary business objectives in mind.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the best-in-class content production around all the topics, relevant to our customers and our product
  • Collaborate cross-department with marketing, design and organic teams to plan and develop all content, style and layouts. Additionally, liaise with global content writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop content calendar in line with national marketing calendar to create, approve, post and report on all social commitments for campaign partners across all Flight Centre Travel Group Canada brands
  • Use content management systems along with social and website data to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics. Effectively and accurately measure and report monthly on multiple KPIs and the ROI of all channels, and use that data to continually improve future campaigns and various initiatives.
Position Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, or a satisfactory combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2+ years experience in content production, or related discipline
  • Foundational knowledge of leveraging core SEO concepts (keyword research, meta data, etc.) to improve organic channel performance through content
  • Experience writing across a range of different formats, in particular experience across blogs, landing pages, ad copy and email content will be strongly regarded.
  • A high level of personal organization and the ability to take ownership and manage projects with many moving parts.
