What will your typical day look like?

If you are an experienced copywriter with a passion for the tech consulting industry, a knack for crafting compelling narratives, and the ability to execute major programs across Canada and the USA, we invite you to join our team. Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling copy for tech consulting marketing materials
  • Serve as the assistant director on video production sets, collaborating closely with the Director to ensure the smooth operation and successful completion of video projects.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, target audience, and client needs, translating complex technical concepts into clear and concise messaging.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, subject matter experts, and project managers to gather insights and ensure the accuracy of technical information.
  • Develop communication and advertising strategies for campaigns across Canada and the USA, ensuring messaging resonates with local markets and cultural nuances.
  • Work closely with the video production team on scripting and screenwriting for video content, ensuring a cohesive and impactful narrative.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone of voice across all marketing channels, adhering to brand guidelines and style guides.
  • Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to develop visually appealing and impactful content that effectively supports the copy.
About the team

Enough about us, let\'s talk about you
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter in the tech consulting industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in writing for B2B audiences.
  • Proficiency in persuasive writing specifically focused on selling technology consulting services, showcasing the ability to highlight the benefits and value proposition of our offerings.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, professional services, health, and life science, providing valuable insights into the specific needs and challenges of these sectors.
  • Experience developing communication and advertising strategies for campaigns across Canada and the USA.
  • In-depth understanding of the tech industry and consulting domain, including familiarity with relevant terminology, trends, and challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive and engaging copy that resonates with the target audience and drives desired actions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and platforms, such as project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana), collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Nice to haves
  • Experience in video production processes and the ability to collaborate with the video production team on scripting and screenwriting.
  • Experience in screenwriting and/or scripting for video production.
  • On-set video production experience, demonstrating familiarity with the production process and ability to collaborate effectively with the production team.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, enhancing the ability to collaborate with the video editing team and contribute to the post-production process.
