JOB SUMMARY

Performs complex duties associated with accurate and timely data entry support for financial operations processing activities including review of lower-level work product, entry of client specific data according to client specifications. Also, will be supporting Operation\'s and Sourcing team when needed. May also be assigned project work occasionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes data entry and follow-up procedures to support a variety of accounts payable and financial transactions in accordance with established timeframes.

Assist Finance manager in reviewing financial operations accounting related transactions to comply with department policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.

Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves escalated issues from lower-level positions related to various financial operations functional areas, including vendor invoice processing, vendor payment processing, credit card reconciliations and others.

Participates in process improvement initiatives within financial operations focused on creating efficiencies and better controls.

May participate in the development and roll out of internal policies and procedures related to the financial operations.

Provides support to Management by researching and responding to specific requests.

Provides support to Sourcing manager by updating Sharepoint module and responding to specific requests.

Performs other duties as assigned by Management Team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

College degree diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of FIVE years experience in administrative or financial operations support. Associate\'s degree with concentration in Business or Finance HIGHLY preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

REQUIRES STRONG BILINGUAL NEED for: Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to prepare analysis and build business cases to support manager\'s needs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires STRONG analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate analysis.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

STRONG knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products). Must work well under pressure with proactive approach to routine and non-routine occurrences. ADVANCED organizational skills, attention to detail. Ability to work in multiple accounting software applications.

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, financial understanding, and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
