Coordinator - Women's Health, Wellness and Self-Management
(32 hours/week , 18 Month Contract)

Langs has grown to become a dynamic, respected multi-service organization that uses a community development approach to provide comprehensive health, social and recreational services that are responsive to the changing needs of our community.
What We are Looking For:
We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator - Women's Health, Wellness and Self-Management to join our team for a part-time position. This role shall participate as a member of the Leadership team and provide coordination of the newly developed Women's Health and Wellness Centre along with the WW Self-Management Program
A successful candidate in this role would have:
A health care professional with a relevant related degree, currently licensed, registered or certified according to the requirements of the profession in the Province of Ontario
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience, preferably in a primary care setting
Experience with program planning, promotion, public speaking and community development
Strong knowledge of computer systems (MS Office Suite), website content management systems, software applications
High degree of initiative and self-direction
Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines with excellent time management skills
High level of attention to detail, initiative, judgment and discretion
Ability to work well with others, build teams, foster an environment of innovative problem-solving, and collaborative relations with all stakeholders
Knowledge and experience of the health care system
Knowledge and understanding of issues impacting women's health and wellness
Understanding of the social determinants of health
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interprofessional team
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in performing needs analysis, environmental scans and report-writing
Understanding principles of self-management and self-management support
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
In this role you will be expected to complete the following tasks:
Provides vision and coordination for service delivery, leading strategic initiatives for women's health and wellness plus self-management programs.
Lead and implement strategic initiatives to develop programs supporting women's health, wellness, and self-management.
Develop and maintain monthly programming calendar, team website(s), social media, and promotional materials.
Conduct needs assessments and plan responsive programs based on community needs and demographic trends.
Liaise with community agencies to build partnerships, support referrals, and raise awareness.
Coordinate team meetings, training sessions, and coverage needs in collaboration with the Manager.
Support onboarding and training for new staff and volunteer leaders.
Manage recruitment, training, and retention of volunteer workshop leaders and faculty.
Ensure program fidelity and compliance with policies including privacy, AODA, and police checks.
Maintain standard operating procedures, volunteer manuals, and training materials.
Collaborate with administrative assistant and external partners for registration, materials, and program promotion.
Represent the program at health fairs, regional/provincial meetings, and community events.
Support program evaluation through data collection, analysis, and reporting in collaboration with database administrator.
Resolve operational challenges, participant concerns, and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

The successful candidate would be eligible for the following benefits:
Starting Salary of $32.91-$36.60 hourly ($54,762.40-$60,897.60 Annually)
3 Weeks paid vacation
10 Sick/Personal Days per year
