We value different voices and perspectives and appreciate that the unique backgrounds and identities we each bring to our jobs make the whole business stronger.POSITION OVERVIEW:Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Tenant Construction, this position is responsible for the coordination of Landlord and Tenant construction projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and liaise with Tenants, Consultants, Contractors and Internal Stakeholders - Leasing, Property Management, Asset Management.
  • Assist the Project Managers Team in planning, organizing, and executing projects from start to finish
  • Review Offers to Lease and Lease Agreements
  • Prepare and present construction budgets
  • Assist with procurement of services including preparing scopes of work, bid review, selection of contractors, contract preparation and acquisition of contractor documentation.
  • Monitor contractor activities during construction, general administration of contractor activities.
  • Monitor and report on project schedule status and cost status.
  • Prepare and update internal reports.
  • Coordinate Tenant requirements / activities including acquisition and review of documentation required from Tenants and Tenant's Contractors including review of drawing submittals.
  • Issue timely correspondence to Tenant in accordance with lease agreement requirements.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University Degree / College Diploma in relevant field of study or acceptable combination of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related work experience in the construction field providing administrative and project coordination support.
  • Proficient in software such as Bluebeam, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project.
  • Understanding of the relationship between Landlord and Tenant, developing knowledge of related agreements.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate and report accurately / promptly.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team and corporate environment.
  • Experience in blueprint reading, building codes, and municipal requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial retail construction and building construction technology
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills.
