Provides leadership to OR supply inventory management. Identifies opportunities that may exist for standardization and reviewing budgets and costs to identify opportunities that will help address our deficit in collaboration with key stakeholders i.e., nurses, physicians, managers, Materiels Management Department.Under the direction of the OR Manager the Product Coordinator is responsible for the management of supplies and equipment for the Operating Rooms at the VG Hospital. In addition to the co-ordination and evaluation of all new supplies, the coordinator is responsible for contributing to business case justifications, identifying standardization opportunities (while balancing clinical requirements) and ensuring appropriate person centred health care is met.
