ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Appleby College's Summer Boarding Programs--including ESL, Canadian Experience Camp (CEC), Summer Enrichment Camp, and Enrichment courses--welcome participants from around the world to live, learn, and participate in a vibrant residential experience. The Summer Programs Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring smooth, safe, and high-quality program delivery by managing registration systems, supporting communication with families, preparing logistics and excursion operations, and assisting boarding staff and program leadership. This position directly supports the Assistant Director, Ancillary Boarding Programs and contributes to the daily success of Appleby's summer residential community.

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

Bring strong administrative and customer-service skills, ideally with experience in boarding or camp environments. Are highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Are proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with CampBrain is an asset. Are collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in fast-paced program settings. Are comfortable supporting off-campus excursions, staff training, and daily boarding operations. Can uphold Appleby College policies, including safety, confidentiality, and the Mutual Respect Policy.

WORK SCHEDULE

On-site presence is required for the full duration of the summer boarding program. Attendance is required for staff orientation,arrival days, excursions, and closing events. Some evening and weekend work will be required to support program operations. Work includes administrative office responsibilities, program logistics support, and participation in excursions as scheduled.
