Coordinator - Student Life
Important Note: The Coordinator, Student Life position in the University of Saskatchewan\'s Residence system is a uniquely demanding and rewarding role. A non-exhaustive overview of general responsibilities can be found further down this posting. However, due to the need for those fulfilling this role to self-reflect and ensure they can adequately meet and thrive in this fast-paced position in an often chaotic environment that necessitates continual learning and high level performance, a list of attributes requisite to the role and new Team members is crucial to allow candidates to assess potential fit. Primary Purpose: The Coordinator, Student Life (Coordinator) is a live-in role and is responsible for all aspects of Student Life in their assigned area of Residence, including student staff management (coaching, support, and discipline), student support (crisis, conduct, and conflict management/resolution), programming delivery, and community oversight. Centered on principles of holistic student development and inclusivity, Coordinators work towards student success and community within Residence, while meeting the needs of an increasingly diverse student population. This work includes continuous conduct follow-up, advising on and coordination of support efforts, and continued assessment of risk for both students and the community.
