POSITION SUMMARY







Dentons Canada is undergoing tremendous growth and we are currently seeking a

Coordinator, Profile & Client Development

to join the Toronto office and support the strategic efforts of select national and regional groups. This role is a

hybrid opportunity

requiring in-office presence.





With a personal passion for growth and business development, the Coordinator will provide client development support to select practice and sector groups, and play a role in executing business development and marketing plans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, managing deliverables, and ensuring the timely execution of projects. They will support multiple projects and priorities, and execute tasks aimed at growing our business. This role will require excellent communication, project management, and multitasking skills. An understanding of the complexities of a matrixed environment is beneficial. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a team that will shape the future of Dentons Canada.




RESPONSIBILITIES




Support the execution of client development and business development plans and strategies for a national team. Conduct market and client research, preparing accurate reports utilizing data sources. Support the implementation of key initiatives, including managing and coordinating deliverables as assigned by liaising with internal teams including brand, web, events, marketing communications, CRM and others. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders by maintaining clear, consistent communication and aligning on goals and expectations. Support the development of pitches and other collateral for new business opportunities and client meetings. Draft, edit, and coordinate the creation and maintenance of lawyer biographies to ensure accuracy and consistency. Draft and coordinate the completion of directory and award submissions for ranking organizations and publications. Support webinars, events and sponsorships, including attending events, managing logistics, and coordinating content and other materials and deliverables. Assist in creation, coordination and distribution of print and digital marketing collateral, including web content, social media posts, brochures, practice group descriptions and other as required. Manage team activity tracker and calendar, supporting follow-up activities to ensure ROI. Other duties, including some administrative tasks, as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS




A diploma or degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is required; A minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in marketing, business development and/or events is required; experience working in a professional services or law firm environment is preferred; Must be proficient working with the entire Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InterAction or a similar database is an asset; experience with SharePoint an asset; Demonstrated intermediate or advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required;
Creative, enthusiastic and results-driven team-player who can work collaboratively with local and national multidisciplinary teams;

Data-driven and digital-savvy, with innovative mindset - proactively identify opportunities for improvement, leverage innovative solutions, and remain flexible in a dynamic environment; Demonstrate curiosity and embrace learning opportunities; Self-motivated and proactive, as well as independent and capable of working with minimum supervision; Superior organizational and project management skills, anticipating challenges and implementing solutions --ability to multi-task; prioritize and organize deliverables; work under pressure; and work with multifaceted, complex projects; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with external contacts and individuals at all levels of the organization, delivering clear, audience-tailored messaging while actively listening and valuing diverse perspectives; Highly professional approach at all times; Ability to manage problems and situations that are constantly changing while using considerable judgement and analysis to determine effective solutions; Recognition of the significant impact that decisions have on the organization's public image, internal operations, services or programs and corporate objectives; Bilingual language skills (French/English) are an asset; and Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct.
