You will be reporting to the Guest Experience Manager and Assistant Guest Experience Manager
WHO YOU ARE
You are a down-to-earth, friendly, and welcoming customer service professional. You are gracious, accommodating, respectful and eager to help our guests and other team members provide an exceptional customer experience that our Vetta guests will rave about.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
All Associate duties as well as...
Opening and closing duties; managing cash.
Perform the Weekly Cash Deposit on Wednesdays
Assist with new hire training.
Process end-of-day reports.
Process RMT gratuities, refunds, returns, cancellation fees, rebooking fees, wrist band fees, sandal rental fees
Restock Grab N Go and train Associates where to find refill supplies.
Promote Vetta's Boutique to guests, order inventory as requested, and input sales as required.
Keep boutique areas clean and organized.
Respond to guests inquires and promote Spa amenities.
Conduct final sandal rental count and make charges if needed.
If wristbands were not returned, make phone calls, document and process charges.
Promote all facilities at Vetta Spa, including boutique, restaurants, and amenities, as well as any promotions or programs.
Handle complaints promptly and professionally demonstrating genuine care and concern.
Address any elevated issues that the Associates are unable to handle.
Supervise Associates and delegate tasks
Ensure all emails, phone messages, confirmation calls have been completed for the day including difficult issues
Assist in coaching/retraining Associates where discipline has occurred
Make task/break schedules and ensure they are followed
Supervise sign in binder to ensure breaks, and sign ins/outs are all documented
Assist in cutting staff if business dies down
Assist in in-house Marketing and sign production
Ensure the front desk area is always clean and tidy.
Other duties that may be required to make Vetta successful
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
Required to work a rotating schedule (days and afternoons) including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
High school graduate
Proven customer service experience in hospitality, guest services or retail, preferably in a Spa environment.
Must be comfortable with software programs and internet.
Knowledge of ResortSuite is an asset.
Must be bondable/have previous experience handling cash.
Must have own reliable transportation.
Bilingual or multilingual an asset.
Current First Aid Certification as asset.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Telephone reservation experience an asset.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Able to handle guest enquiries proactively and respectfully while working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-motivated
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to take initiative, multitask and manage time effectively
Must be able to supervise Associates, delegate tasks, make break and task schedules and assist in cutting staff if business dies down
Assists in finding coverage for sick/emergency calls

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
Able to work in a fast-paced environment,
Comfortable walking, standing, sitting, and bending over an 8-hour period.
Able to lift max of 20 lbs.
