Cenovus is currently looking for four Coordinator positions within the OSO (Oil Sands Operations) team to join our Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise locations!

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, the Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility while actively adhering to the Cenovus policies, safety, operating rules, schedule agreements, attendance guidelines, and Government regulations. This role requires a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to the team.

Work Environment:

These are full-time employee position working a shift of 12hrs per day, 7 days on, 7 days off OR 8 days on, 6 days off, depending on site assignment

Rotating days, and nights

Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise all have full-service camp facilities

Depending on your place of residence and your shift rotation, bus and/or air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations

Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise are serviced by flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton as well as bus transportation to site from La Corey, AB (Foster Creek only)

Qualifications:

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Possess a 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate, with preference given to those holding a 2nd Class Certificate

8+ years of Operating experience

Relevant experience in cyclic steam or SAGD thermal recovery heavy oil operations would be an asset

Demonstrated leadership and competency in work practices, policies, and procedures

Proficiency with computers is required (experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, SAP, and a field data capture system would be considered an asset)

Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to the relevant requirements of the Cenovus Drug and Alcohol policy which includes pre-assignment testing

Strong technical skills to complement Power Engineering qualifications

Possess a valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract required)
