We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join our Kamloops team in the role of Coordinator of Corporate Services. This full-time position supports various departments within the Agency, including Communications, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and the Leadership team. Reporting to Chief Engagement Officer, the Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks including data entry, document editing, managing confidential records, and supporting agency-wide operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to multiple departments within the organization.
Input and manage data across internal platforms and software.
Format, edit, and proofread a variety of documents and spreadsheets.
Manage and maintain confidential records and reports.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) for daily tasks.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal processes.
Support Human Resources and Payroll functions (experience considered an asset).
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective operations and communication.
Required Skills
& Abilities:
Strong management skills with experience in supervising teams effectively.
Proven ability in program development and management tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Excellent relationship management skills to foster trust and collaboration among clients, families, and stakeholders.
Administrative experience that includes budgeting and resource allocation for programs.
Background in social work or behavioural health is highly desirable, enhancing understanding of client needs.
Ability to work compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds while advocating for their rights and needs. This position is ideal for candidates who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through effective coordination of services and support systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum education: High school diploma.
Completion of administrative courses or training is an asset.
5+ years of experience in an office/administrative role.
Experience operating office equipment (phones, photocopiers, fax, etc.).
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (updated every five years).
