SCOPEThe incumbent develop and implement global marketing strategies and communication plans with all Concordia units offering Professional and Executive Education. They coordinate multiple brands management with coherence and alignment to meet institutional objectives and clarify institutional value propositions to diverse new targeted audiences. They consult and collaborate with all stakeholders to gather relevant information from different perspectives and expertise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Consult, collaborate and make sure to gather information from all units' perspectives, priorities, and expertise for data-driven decision-making process. Monitor industry trends, news, and competitive activities to identify strategic communication and proactive outreach opportunities; stay informed about emerging communication and outreach technologies and tools to innovate and continuously improve strategies and tactics. Coordinate, plan, advise, and support all activities related to the marketing plan in collaboration with the Senior Director Program. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels. Write/create content and oversee the production of communication materials on behalf of Concordia Lifelong Learning unit (web content, notices, articles, electronic newsletters, videos, reports, brochures, leaflets, photographic portraits, emails, and other media elements); ensure these documents are clear, up-to-date, well-written, use appropriate imagery and tone, target the intended audience while reflecting Concordia's identity and brand; liaise with other units within the communications service as needed and supervise project timelines and deliverables. Implement, communicate, and promote the Lifelong Learning marketing strategy to all stakeholders. Conduct research on best practices, consult with all stakeholders, benchmark against the market. Optimize our social media presence and monitor the advertising campaigns. Analyze campaign performance against ROI and KPIs, making data-driven decisions. Analyze and establish an evaluation process for assessing the achievement of established communication objectives using quantifiable indicators to measure the effectiveness of tactics and formulate data-driven recommendations for improvement. Work with the Senior Director Strategy and Transformation to develop and promote the Concordia Lifelong Learning Strategy to different audiences. Collaborate creatively with internal teams and external partners to refine user experiences (platforms, website, documentation, visuals, etc.). Monitor and advise on the units' marketing annual budget in collaboration with Senior Directors Program and Senior Director Administration. Coordinate the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of all Concordia Lifelong Learning brands guidelines. Coordinate the user experience satisfaction activities. Support and provide advice and recommendations on the assessment of technologies in support of excellent brands visibility, user experience, and data collection for optimal reach and conversion. Prepare briefings for interviews and speeches by the AVPPEV by conducting appropriate research. Lead committees and working groups as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in a marketing, communication or in field related to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of relevant experience Very good knowledge (Level 5) of spoken and written English and good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written French. Good knowledge (Intermediate Level) of Word (able to do mail merges), Excel (able to create graphics using data in spreadsheets and incorporate graphics into other programs), and PowerPoint (able to create templates) in a Windows environment Understanding of the socio-economic, political, and cultural ecosystem of Quebec Demonstrated skills in interviewing, writing, editing, and proofreading Superior communications skills Proven track record of success in conceptualizing, developing and implementing sophisticated and differentiated communication strategies. Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, and display advertising. Proficient with website analytics tools and familiar with A/B testing and multivariate experiments. Strong technical skills, including a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Google Adwords, Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS, and design software like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign. Excellent analytical abilities, with a knack for measuring and optimizing customer journeys and marketing funnels. Proven ability to translate technical information into language understood by the layperson. Interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated organizational and project-management skills, with a track record for meeting tight deadlines, providing proactive responses, dealing with multiple stakeholders and project owners, performing well under pressure Keen attention to details. Excellent problem-solving skills; developed sense of innovation and entrepreneurship. Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, resourcefulness, and political tact. Approachability (is sensitive and patient with others) and composure (is a calming influence in a difficult situation). Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities. Full understanding of social media and web-based platforms. Ability to adapt to and learn new technology.
