Job Summary
The Registrar's Office (RO) is a large, multi-unit, multi-site operation involved in the entire academic experience of Dalhousie students, from recruitment and admissions through to convocation and beyond. Reporting to the Manager, Service Experience, the Coordinator is responsible for the daily management and coordination of both Enrolment Service Hubs (Halifax and Truro) for the Registrar's Office.
Key Responsibilities
Create a culture of service excellence focused on meeting time sensitive deadlines and creating a positive experience for prospective and current students, parents, guidance counselors, faculty and staff.
Ensure accurate processing of student record updates, student loans and documents, confirmation of enrolments, transcripts, and letter of permission.
Responsible for Student Accounts, DalCard/UPass, and Registrar revenues for all financial transactions of the Enrolment Services Hub in Truro.
Develop the policies and procedures that guide the outcomes of the Enrolment Service Hubs to ensure the strategic priorities of the Registrar's Office, and the institution, are met.
Responsible for managing six full-time (NSGEU) staff members, students, and temporary contract employees which includes hiring, training, and performance support of all staff.

Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree, plus a minimum of three to five years' related administrative experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
Experience developing business processes, policies and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and function at a high level with minimal direct supervision
A high degree of interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Proven excellence in staff supervision and management.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Knowledge of student information systems.
