You are a people person with a keen interest in real estate development who can\xe2\x80\x99t wait to learn about community relations. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can multi-task like a pro. You are resourceful and will happily roll up your sleeves to support the approval of Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s real estate projects, including tackling project research, organizing public information meetings, and producing communication material. You are empathetic, stay calm under pressure, and relish the opportunity to meet new people in the community.

You will
  • Support Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s Director of Community Relations and Vertical Development House Team.
  • Contribute to a number of exciting development projects in Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s real estate portfolio.
  • Help develop community engagement programs and execute project deliverables to support the approval of Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s real estate projects.
  • Work within the scope of Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s community relations process while meeting municipal requirements.
  • Plan and attend various community and public information meetings and contribute to a project\xe2\x80\x99s Public Hearing process.
  • Support Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s tenant relocation process.
  • Support Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s charitable giving team and execute on Anthem\xe2\x80\x99s giving strategy.
You have
  • Post-Secondary Education.
  • 1+ years full-time or co-op work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create basic communication material (e.g. power point presentations, project fact sheets, etc.)
  • Excellent time-management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to commit to occasional evening and weekend work.
