We need an energetic, confident individual join our leading-edge Collaborative Partnering team within the Transportation and Infrastructure Strategic Project Pursuits & Alternative Delivery group as a Coordinator. The Collaborative Partnering team is at the forefront of the changing project and program landscape in Canada with a focus on collaboration throughout the pursuit and delivery of major projects. WSP has created new roles and new ways of working on the delivery of collaborative projects and programs which involves coaching, training and mentoring high-performing project teams.


You will support the team in coordinating the delivery and documentation of strategic initiatives and Collaborative Business Relationships tools and systems in support of project pursuits and project delivery.


This is a client-facing role where you will be mentored and empowered to own your deliverables. In return, to achieve success in this role a collaborative mindset and ability to foster trusting relationships and effectively support strong project and organizational teams is essential. You will be responsible for administrative and meeting coordination under the guidance and support of the Senior Manager, Collaborative Partnering. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders to support high-performing and collaborative teams with logistics coordination requiring strong organization and communication skills.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Collaborative Partnering, and working closely under the mentorship of the Collaborative Partnering team, this is a pivotal role with high visibility within the organization.


You will synthesize large amounts of data to create comprehensive, logical process documentation. In addition, you will manage incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the team. This will require that you develop trusting relationships with internal stakeholders including market sectors, corporate services, commercial, and operations to maintain open communication. You will support the team in the development of broader operational excellence activities such as processes and procedures, platforms, and systems.


You will support the activities of the Collaborative Partnering Team, helping to position WSP as a valued partner on our major projects.

Project Coordination:



Developing work plans and delivery schedules. Arranging meetings and workshops, developing meeting agendas and distributing materials. Developing and managing the Team's SharePoint page and ensuring documentation is updated and consistent across various platforms. Answering critical correspondence, collecting and synthesizing lessons learned.

What you'll bring to WSP ...



Bachelor's Degree or technical degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience in supporting project teams. The ability to organize data and develop presentations that are visually appealing and user-friendly. The ability to coordinate logistics for team working sessions in-person and for virtual environments, providing support and documentation throughout. The ability to work autonomously with a positive, can-do attitude and confidence to actively support the delivery of projects and initiatives. Proven experience in building rapport as part of a team and working in partnership with cross functional teams to proactively deliver upon commitments and expectations. An interest in learning commercial acumen and gaining experience in business, commercial and operational solutions, their interdependencies, and the impact of these on the people agenda is an asset. Strong Client focus, commitment to working in a team environment, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; comfortable with presenting ideas and views. Intermediate level IT skills. Candidates with previous experience working in Engineering Consulting or Professional Services firms are preferred.
