Ensure the proper operation of satellite dishes, receivers/decoders and transmitters, and communicate any changes to satellite channel assignments. Establish communication links for signal transmission and reception, conduct technical tests and maintain the necessary contacts. Ensure that the return signal for each network broadcast by Radio-Canada is recorded for CRTC purposes. Authorize and initialize Radio-Canada decoders/receivers based on regional and management requests. Record programs, commercials and promos; check their accuracy and technical quality; and take corrective action in case of non-compliance. Route and feed news exchange content from servers, VTRs or other sources to regional stations. Import elements and perform conversions to various file formats for incorporation into edited sequences.
