RESUME



Le Centre Cummings est un centre communautaire a but non lucratif qui s'engage a ameliorer la qualite de vie des personnes agees et a promouvoir une attitude positive envers le vieillissement. Le/la coordinateur a la conference des reclamations sera charge de fournir un soutien technique, administratif et organisationnel au responsable du programme des services aux survivants de l'Holocauste et au departement des services sociaux du Centre Cummings, ainsi qu'au departement des finances.

TACHES ET RESPONSABILITES



Saisie des transactions dans notre logiciel et creation de rapports Excel ad hoc Fournir un soutien logistique pour la realisation de rapports detailles pertinents Responsable de la verification des rapports afin d'en garantir l'exactitude et l'exhaustivite Garantir des delais d'execution appropries pour toutes les saisies de donnees Verifier les donnees de maniere proactive Collaborer avec les autres membres du personnel administratif et des services sociaux D'autres responsabilites au sein du departement ou de l'agence peuvent etre assignees selon les besoins

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE ET COMPETENCES



DEC ou certificat en administration ou en comptabilite generale Minimum de 3 annees d'experience pertinente Connaissance de Sage et Pay Edge Comprehension des concepts comptables et experience prealable en conciliation de comptes bancaires Capacite a traiter un volume eleve de transactions de maniere efficace Excellentes competences en organisation et en analyse Capacite a gerer plusieurs taches simultanement Aptitude a travailler de facon autonome ainsi qu'en equipe collaborative Maitrise de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Tres a l'aise avec la creation et l'utilisation de rapports Excel Bilingue : francais et anglais, le russe est un atout. La connaissance de langues additionnelles au francais est benefique pour mieux servir notre clientele

SUMMARY



The Cummings Centre is a non-profit community centre committed to enhancing the quality of life of seniors and promotes positive attitudes about aging. The Claims Conference Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical, administrative and organizational support to the Program Manager of Services for Holocaust Survivors and the Social Services Department, as well as the Finance Department

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Data entry of transactions into our software as well as ad-hoc excel reports Provide logistical support for the completion of relevant detailed reports Responsible for reviewing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness Ensure appropriate turnaround time on all data entry Proactively verify data Collaborate with other administrative and social services support staff There may be other departmental, or agency responsibilities assigned as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS



DEC or certificate in administration or general accounting Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge of Sage and Pay Edge Understanding of accounting concepts and prior experience reconciling bank accounts Capable of handling a high volume of transactions in an efficient manner Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to multi-task Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Very comfortable creating and working with excel reports. Bilingual; French and English, Russian an asset. Languages in addition to French are beneficial to best service our clientele.
