Reporting to Sr. Manager, International Tax, Nutrien has an exciting Co-op Stuent opportunity within Tax. Providing invaluable work experience in a growing company, this position will begin in January 2024 for an 8-month, 12-month, or 16-month term.

What you will do:

• Assist with the preparation of the Canadian income tax returns and other information returns
• Assist with other foreign income tax compliance and reporting
• Assist with process improvement and spreadsheet automation projects
• Involvement with a variety of special tax related projects such as technical research, etc.

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution in the Co-op Program with a focus on accounting or finance
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
• Competence in standard Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Ability to work with Power Query would be an asset
• Proficiency in tax preparation software would be an asset
