Overview

Are you interested in applying your talents and knowledge and gaining valuable experience to support worker health and safety? We have a co-op opportunity in our Provider Referrals department commencing January 2023 for an eight-month term. If you're goal-oriented, accountable, and have a strong desire to contribute, we want to hear from you.

This position is a hybrid of remote and on-site work (at least one day per quarter) in our Richmond office.

What you'll do

As a Registration Representative Co-op Student, you will:

  • Facilitate referral and exception requests from an online booking and scheduling system
  • Participate in ongoing projects relating to the needs of the team and operational activities
  • Support professional and administrative ad-hoc tasks related to the needs of the team
  • Perform administrative duties

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, while learning tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate an ability to learn multiple computer programs
Your experience and educational background:
  • Enrolled in a Business Administration, Arts, or Communication program
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset
  • Previous co-op or relevant work experience in an office environment is an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
