Co-op Quality Engineer

. This position reports to Test Engineering Manager and will work in Vancouver, B.C.


Please note that this position is open to current students enrolled in a Canadian accredited university and co-op program.

Dometic Marine's headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products.



As

Co-op Quality Engineer

on the Vancouver team, you will be focused on supporting the development of connected systems within our dynamic manufacturing environment. Previous students have led the design and development of connected dashboards to visualize operational performance and product quality trends - we are one of the first teams in our company to implement these reporting and automation tools, and these students have been integral in shaping these systems. We work to tailor projects and objectives to our students' skillset, experience, and most importantly, interests. We want

General Responsibilities



Lead and implement 1-2 Continual Improvement Projects Troubleshoot production failures, field failures, and design problems Develop quality systems and automated reporting methods

Skills & Requirements




Must be enrolled in an Engineering or Computer Science program at an accredited university Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks Strong proficiency with MS Office programs including: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint; and the ability to learn other applications quickly Experience with Automation tools (MS Forms, Power Automate), programming/database development, and Power BI is an asset
