The Toronto office is seeking full-time student engineers to join our Water Resources team for a 4-month coop term. This contract position will begin in May 2026.Projects will greatly vary, but will generally consist of roads, site plans, sanitary sewage collection systems, flood protection and storm drainage systems, including hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, planning and design.
Duties:
Assist in the design and development of stormwater, drainage, and flood management systems
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling for water resources projects
Prepare technical drawings, reports, and specifications using CAD and GIS software
Conduct site assessments, data collection, and analysis to support design recommendations
Support the preparation of permit applications and environmental documentation
Qualifications:
Preference for being enrolled in a third or fourth-year Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
Knowledge and previous work experience with GIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation is an asset.
Demonstrates superior communication skills - both oral and written.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to learn and grow professionally in the field of municipal engineering.
Compensation Range
The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
