Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead to oversee our food service operations. Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and proper food handling practices. Oversee meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards and are served in a timely manner. Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Assist with serving during peak hours to ensure customer satisfaction and timely service.

Skills

Proven experience in the food service industry with a focus on restaurant or kitchen environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations, including proper handling and storage practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
