We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and handling. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Able to adapt to diverse menu and service type (concession food preparation as well as seat down dinners, for small and large groups)
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in meal preparation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff
