Hiring Unit:
Student Housing & Hospitality Services
Under the direction of the Supervisor, assists in the preparation of all food items.
Qualifications RequiredDiploma from an accredited culinary school OR High School Leaving Diploma with three (3) years' experience as a Cook's Helper. Ability to read and write English and/or French. Good communication skills.

Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
Additional information
Temporary part-time position August 17, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Work hours and location are variable.
Hourly Salary:
$27.37
Hours per Week:
up to 38.75 per week (day, evening, night). Must be available for weekend schedules from Sunday to Saturday, according to needs.
Location:
Bishop Mountain Hall/Royal Victoria College/Douglas Hall, as per need.
Supervisor:
Dining Hall Supervisor and/or Chef
