Responsibilities



Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of foods with precision, including frying, baking, sauteing, and grilling Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or team members in a timely manner Maintain organization of workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Experience


Candidates should possess prior experience in food industry settings such as restaurants, catering services, or dietary departments. Experience with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. A background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations will be highly valued. Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food safety practices are essential. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food handling standards ensures smooth daily operations. Previous roles involving restaurant experience or culinary work demonstrate your ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
