Just kidding! We're not looking for a line cook; Well we sort of are. We find cooks make great employees at knife shops so if you're looking to transition out of the kitchen, please apply! We're looking for a driven and outgoing individual to join our growing team of Japanese knife lovers! As a member of our team you will be responsible for assisting customers with a variety of retail concerns, and must have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

Ability to learn and share expertise on Japanese knives and other store products to assess and meet customer needs Ensuring customers receive outstanding service by maintaining a friendly and positive environment Ability to address all customer questions/concerns in a professional manner Packaging orders that come through the shop's website in an efficient and accurate manner Ensuring the front and back of the shop remain clean and organized Processing transactions through shopify POS Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months retail experience Excellent communication skills Team player Ability to accept feedback

You are outgoing and enthusiastic You have a knowledge or willingness to learn about Japanese knives You have prior experience in a professional kitchen and/or a love of cooking You have strong interpersonal skills You have previous sales associate experience in a similar environment You demonstrate a willingness to learn how to sharpen knives
