Bakers Narrows Lodge is a tourism-based business that provides guests with experiences from traditional fishing trips to adventure tourism. We cater to many different types of guests.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and standards.

Based on experience + gratuities

Day, evening, weekends, some holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work station. Follow food safety and sanitation protocols. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen. Adapt to changing menus and dietary restrictions as needed. Support the Head Chef in achieving quality and consistency in all dishes.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role at a lodge preferred. Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Culinary degree or certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced kitchen environment. May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some split shifts.
