We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties
Meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Cooking food, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
Organize and store food items properly to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages to the manager.
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
Support other staff as needed during busy service periods.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Mandarin speaker preferred.
A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
Open to two locations ( College Street & King West)

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
