We have built a reputation for not only our pies, but our amazing service. We treat our customers as friends and love to find out about their day. Behind the scenes we work hard as a team to ensure the highest quality pies are being made. As a Cook/Kitchen Hand you will be ordering our famous pies from our production kitchen and baking them throughout the day. You will be cooking the mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. Most importantly, you will be hand baking all of our yummy Australian sweets and desserts. You must be able to work autonomously and have a good eye for detail and cleanliness. You will need to be organized, keep a clean work station and have excellent time management skills.

COOK / KITCHEN HAND ~ Full Time Position

Wednesday to Sunday 6:30am - 3.00pm.

Private room in staff house available December 1st.

Must have valid BC driver's license

Candidates must be currently legally allowed to work in Canada.
*The above wage is $20.00 + tips. If you do not make a minimum of $25.00 per hour, we will top you up, any additional tips are on top of that.

Requirements:

Must have a full valid BC drivers license with clean driving history o=o Cooking, kitchen or cafe experience preferred but willing to train the right person should you be detail oriented and are a good home baker ~ Thrive in a fast paced environment > > > Takes care and pride in yourself and your work Abides by and understands BC Food Safe standards and practices, holds their Food Safe Level 1 certification ! Must be able to lift bags of flour ^^ Love eating pies :0

Main Duties

:

Ensures we have adequate supply of all pies and desserts when opening the store Follows recipes and produces high quality food for our customers Prepare sweets and desserts that are consistently delicious and visually appealing. Place all food orders on time, maintaining consistent and minimum stock levels in accordance to the season or events. Keeps the kitchen, fridges, freezers and equipment clean and organized throughout the day
