Preparing and grilling yakitori over charcoal (binchotan)
Daily food preparation including cutting, skewering, and marinating meats
Managing prep and mise en place for service
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Assisting with inventory control and food quality management
Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in a professional setting
Previous yakitori grilling or izakaya experience preferred
Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
Experience with meat skewering and prep
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, reliable, and a good team player
Food Safe Level 1 or willingness to obtain
Working Hours:
Shifts available from 4pm - 12am including weekends and holidays
